Composer Thomas Newman still experimenting for 'Skyfall' sound

25-May-2012 • Skyfall

Composer Thomas Newman, who was brought on to score the new James Bond film "Skyfall" by director Sam Mendes, is still experimenting with ideas for the 007 adventure.

Filming wrapped on the film today, and leaves just five months in post production for the movie to be completed before opening in cinemas across the UK.

Newman was at the 2012 BMI Awards this week to collect a gong for his work on "The Help".

When asked if he could give any hints as to what "Skyfall" audiences can expect musically, Newman said: "Nah, probably not. I'm just brainstorming right now. So who knows what'll end up floating to the surface?"
