IMAX to showcase 'Skyfall' sneak preview at Comic-Con this week

The official Twitter feed for IMAX has confirmed that a brand new sneak peek at the upcoming James Bond film "Skyfall" will be bestowed upon a Comic-Con audience later this week. This in contrary to earlier word that Sony Pictures would not be exhibiting anything from the film.

@IMAX tweeted: JUST ANNOUNCED! A never-before-seen @007 ‪#Skyfall‬ exclusive will follow the @glennmorrison performance during ‪#IMAXremix‬ on 7/12 at ‪#SDCC‬!

Could this simply be a preview of the full length theatrical trailer, which is expected any time soon?

The preview will be an additional treat to Bond fans in San Diego his year, which is the first time the franchise has showcased at the annual pop culture event. MGM and Fox Home Entertainment have teamed up to promote the new 'Bond 50' Blu-Ray set at the exhibition with four Bond cars and special guests.
