Bond alumni to attend Birmingham Comic Con this month

Event - 05-03-13
The guestlists have been released for Birmingham Comic Con, held at the NEC, 16th and 17th March 2013.

Amongst the guests from action, fantasy and sci-fi TV and movies are a collection of Bond alumni.

Honor Blackman, who plays Pussy Galore in 1964's "Goldfinger" is set to appear on both Saturday and Sunday. Joining her for the whole weekend are Maryam D'Abo, who played the lead in Timothy Dalton's 007 debut; Lana Wood, who plays the flirtatious casino guest in "Diamonds Are Forever"; and Shirley Eaton, the doomed golden girl who played alongside Blackman in "Goldfinger".

Madeline Smith, Bond's foreign contact seen at the beginning of "Live And Let Die", will be attending the convention on Saturday only.

Also joining the line up of lovely Bond girls is Alec Mills, camera man to numerous Roger Moore adventures, as well as Lazenby's only brush with Bond, "On Her Majesty's Secret Service".

Tickets are available from www.mcmcomiccon.com.
