Sony Pictures France goof with Penelope Cruz cast listing, actress denies offer

Sony Pictures Releasing France, the company responsible for distributing Sony titles in the country, issued an updated 2015 release schedule this week that had a tiny but fascinating detail - Penelope Cruz listed in the Bond 24 cast. Cruz, 40, is married to Javier Bardem - who played the villain Silva in the last film "Skyfall".

This is likely an assumption by the distributor based on the old rumour from June last year and not a leak from the production. Distributors are not involved in pre-production.

Javier Giner, Penelope Cruz's Spanish publicist, denied the rumors about Bond 24 to newspaper El Pais: "There is no offer. It's not true."
