Ken Adam added to guest list for 'Goldfinger' event in Norway

Two -time Academy Award® winner Sir Ken Adam, one of film history's foremost production designers will be amongst guests for the Oslo based screening of "Goldfinger", taking place later this month.

Sir Ken Adams groundbreaking and grand production design sets a new standard in cinema, and it was important for the success of the Bond films. The Bond films made Sir Ken Adam a futuristic, luxurious and magnificent design unlike what moviegoers had seen before.

Besides, "Goldfinger", he was production designer on six other 007 films - "Dr. No" (1962),"Thunderball" (1965),"You Only Live Twice" (1967),"Diamonds Are Forever" (1971), "The Spy Who Loved Me" (1977) and "Moonraker" (1979). Outside the James Bond films, he is best known for his collaboration with maestro director Stanley Kubrick for "Dr. Strangelove" (1964) and "Barry Lyndon" (1975).

Sir Ken Adam is rewarded with a number of very high-standing awards and honours, including two Academy Awards® (for "Barry Lyndon" and "The Madness of King George") and two BAFTA ("Dr. Strangelove" and "The Ipcress File"). He received the Art Directors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002 for his lasting
contribution to film history. He has also been a member of the jury at both the Cannes.
