It's a wrap for Jesper Christensen on 'SPECTRE'

08-Feb-2015 • Spectre (2015)

Having finished filming his third 007 instalment, Jesper Christensen has returned home to Denmark where he granted local media outlet BT an interview.

It has been seven years since Mr. White last confronted Bond in "Quantum of Solace" and the actor says it was "fun" to be back on set with the Bond family. He is also full of praise for Sam Mendes. The "scene was damn fine," and Mendes " listens and talks and writes" as he works. As others have asserted in the past the director is thoroughly responsive to his actors. Christensen was able to suggest things he felt might improve the scene without offence to his director.

It is understood that Christensen shot all of his scene(s) on set at Pinewood Studios in the UK.

Speaking about the secrecy of the franchise, he says the efforts to which the Bond producers go to keep the story under wraps are "with good reason". Bond, says the actor, is "almost a religion" with everyone having an opinion on how things should play out.

Thanks to `Jesper` for the alert.
