Daniel Craig reportedly receives £2 million bonus due to Casino Royale success

08-May-2007 • Casino Royale

MEDIA RUMOUR
Having helped to make Casino Royale the most successful James Bond film ever - grossing more than £300 million worldwide - Daniel Craig has just received a bonus of £2 million from its makers, Eon Productions, reports The Telegraph.

His three-picture deal with the company was not said to be especially generous. "It reflected the fact that he was an unknown quantity in the part," a pal of the 39-year-old actor tells me. "This is just to make sure he doesn't now start to feel hard done by."
