Activision aquire Bizarre Creations to work on `licenced` game title

13-Oct-2007 • Gaming

The newly purchased studio has already begun work on one of Activision's numerous franchises - reports Advanced Media Network.

In the former crazy acquisition of the month, Activision have revealed some more details on what Bizarre Creations tentative plans are. Besides having another racing title in the pipeline, Activision has stated that Bizarre Creations will be working on one of the franchise's that they own, as well.

"We believe in brands and franchises not individual titles, so we'll be working with Bizarre to develop a great concept and brand in racing, as well as working with their second team, which is very talented in the action genre. This team will most probably be working on a property that Activision already owns," said Activision's EVP, Robin Kaminsky.

Some of the IPs (intellectual property) Activision has in their safe include Call of Duty, Tony Hawk, Guitar Hero and plenty of licensed games, including a James Bond title next year.
