Noel Gallagher proves The Sun is full of '****' when it comes to sources

21-Nov-2011 • Skyfall

Former Oasis member Noel Gallagher has hit out at The Sun newspaper for making up quotes from bogus sources whilst shooting down the rumour that he might be penning the title theme to the new James Bond film "SkyFall".

The red-top rag printed the claims about Gallagher a couple of days ago, but as usual, stretched a tip too far and printed bogus quotes from a made up 'source'.

On his blog, Gallagher wrote:

"Now, I don't know whether you've seen a story that's doing the rounds about me being offered the job of penning the tune for the new James Bond film? Apparently I'm being courted by "007 bosses"!!!!! A meeting will be "taking place in the next few days"!!!! With some guy called "Michael G. Wilson" (whoever he is)!!! A "source" says, "nothing has been signed or made official"!!!! Of course it fuckin' hasn't!!!!!! Who IS this fuckin' "source"? Has he been on the "sauce"? Bizarre indeed.

You currently find me in San Francisco.... It's the last night of this particular leg of this particular American tour. Flying home tomorrow."

Thanks to `Billy` for the alert.
