'Skyfall' night shoot at Charing Cross tube station (photos)

The 'Skyfall' production crew are in Charing Cross tube station at this moment preparing for a night-shoot for the new James Bond film.

In the movie, the location will appear as 'Temple Station'. In real life, Temple is a London Underground station in the City of Westminster, between Victoria Embankment and Temple Place.

The shoot is scheduled to take place between 6:30pm and 5:30am. As Charing Cross station is closed after 00:30am and does not reopen until shortly before the first train service at 5:43am, the location is likely to be out of bounds to the public during the times when the cast will actually be filming.

The last time a London tube station was featured in a James Bond film was 2002's "Die Another Day", when the fictional 'disused' station Vauxhall Cross saw 007 meeting M and taking the keys to the Aston Martin Vanquish from Q. For that production, the phony station was created on a sound stage at Pinewood Studios.
