Ralph Fiennes reveals a little about his 'Skyfall' character

Whilst chatting to British newspaper The Daily Record recently to promote his new film "Coriolanus", actor Ralph Fiennes also spilled a few beans about his role in the new James Bond adventure "Skyfall".

He told the paper: "I’m allowed to say that I’m a government agent."

His personal history with Bond goes back to the books, as he explained in the interview: "I used to be a complete nerd about the books and the detail in them. They are fantastic. There was Fleming’s obsession with different kinds of champagne and caviar. He kind of fetishises these things."

Fiennes was often touted as a possible Bond actor in the 1990s. On that topic, he said: "There was a time in my life when that would have appealed to me. But I’m a bit on the old side now."
