Major Derval was Domino Derval's brother, a Vulcan bomber pilot

in which she kept Major Derval occupied until his imposter Angelo
Palazzi knocked on the door, on opening the door, as much as he
was shocked, Major Derval got a face full of Gamma Gas, killing
him instantly.
