"Die Another Day" Novelisation - Advance Cover
31st July 2002

A little over two weeks on since MI6 exclusively unveiled the UK advance of the "Die Another Day" novelisation, leading online book retailers in the United States have released a preview cover for their market.

Novels in the UK and US have historically been released with different covers to suit the style that readers are used to.

The US advance cover uses the teaser poster artwork with a couple of additions. The "James Bond in" logo is the same as the ones used in recent US editions of novels. The most striking feature for most Bond fans however, is the claim that this is "The Biggest Bond Movie Ever". Bigger in which way we will have to wait until November 2002 to find out.

MI6 can exclusively reveal the first publishers advance cover for the official novelisation of "Die Another Day".

Although the image is quite low resolution, we can make out the title text for the book will be "Raymond Benson - Based on the screenplay by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade".

The logo for the film title is still in line with other EON materials, although some insiders expect the logo to change closer to the films release.

Publishers Hodder & Stoughton told MI6:

"The image is an initial design. The designer hasn't had final approval on our jacket yet."

The novelisation of "The World Is Not Enough" relied heavily on poster artwork for the cover jacket.

Bond followers may remember the photoshoot that took place during the January 11th media day at Pinewood Studios, UK.

This advance cover uses one of the many pictures of Brosnan and the new Aston Martin Vanquish.

MI6 will be tracking the development of the book covers and posters in the build up to "Die Another Day"'s release on November 20th (UK).
