Roger Moore Moonraker Figure Announced
20th February 2005

Sideshow Collectibles will debut an exciting new James Bond figure at the 2005 Toy Fair in New York - and MI6 has got the first exclusive look!

The latest addition will compliment the extraordinary series of figures that started back in 2002, when Sideshow Collectibles were exclusively licensed to create a line of 12" collectible figures in the likeness of all five Bond actors, key villains and some of the famous women.

Out Of This World

Roger Moore as James Bond 007 in "Moonraker" is the latest figure in the impressive Sideshow 12" line-up.

Details on the extras are yet to be confirmed, but Bond will come complete with a laser pistol modeled on the screen version, and Q's wrist dart gun that 007 uses to kill Drax in the film's climax.

A special Sideshow Collectibles Exclusive Version, limited to only 500 pieces, will also include the x-ray machine disguised as a cigarette case that Bond used in Drax's house.

The figure has over 30 points of articulation and comes in a full colour box with figure stand. It will retail for $40.

This figure is sure to sell out soon - so be sure to check the Sideshow website next week when pre-orders open and for more release details.

The Roger Moore as James Bond figure will compliment the previously released Richard Kiel as Jaws 14" oversized figure. Jaws went on to survive both “The Spy Who Loved Me”, and the finale of “Moonraker” after making a truce Bond.

The Jaws figure and accessories are based on the opening sequence of Moonraker, which sees Bond and Jaws free fall while fighting for a single parachute.

Jaws is still available to order on the Sideshow Collectibles website for European customers.
