"The Living Daylights" & Bond
Box Set R2 DVDs

MI6 has great news for Bond fans in region 2 - "The Living
Daylights" and Bond Box Set will be available in November
2003!
When the Bond DVDs were re-released in late 2002 to coincide
with "Die Another Day" in theatres, one title was missing
from the series - "The Living Daylights". MI6 obtained
an official statement from MGM Home Entertainment regarding the
issue:
The reason the
James Bond DVD "The Living Daylights" is not available
to purchase as a single disc, yet is available in the James Bond
Collection box set, is due to a pending rights issue that we had
anticipated would have been resolved before our November DVD release.
MI6 can reveal that the distribution rights issue has now been
resolved and "The Living Daylights" will be available
in region 2 almost exactly a year later than the other 18 titles
- on November 3rd 2003. The disc will be identical to the
DVD released in 2000, when the "Special Edition" series
was first released.

James Bond "Monster Box Set"
Although available during the re-release of the "Special
Edition" titles back in November 2002, the box sets were
quickly pulled from shelves when "The Living Daylights"
distribution rights issue prompted recall.
An updated edition of the James Bond "Monster Box Set"
of DVDs will be released on 3rd November 2003 in Region 2 along
with the individual "The Living Daylights" title - just
in time for Christmas!
The new 20-title set will include the two-disc "Die Another
Day" Special Edition. It will be housed in a similar tin
to the previous boxed sets. The contents of the DVD discs will
be identical to previous 007:SE releases, with special features
totalling more than 85 hours.
