MI6 caught up with Triumph this week to find out more about their new Daytona 600 motorcycle and "Everything or Nothing"....

Triumph Put Bond On Two Wheels

In the forthcoming Bond game "Everything or Nothing", due for release in November this year, Bond will be taking to two wheels for some of the driving missions. This week MI6 caught up with the team at Triumph HQ in Hinckley, Leicestershire to find out more.

How does the Triumph brand feel about the connection with Bond?
Bond is the ultimate hero and his choice of vehicle has always been very important. It may have taken Bond 40 years to find himself on a Triumph, but it is his natural choice on 2 wheels. Both Bond and Triumph are known for class and sophistication with a little danger. They share so much in common not least their impeccable British heritage. We are delighted to have Bond using our machines. We hope this game is the first of many occasions Bond is on one of our machines.

How did you and EA choose the motorcycle?
Bond needed to be on a high performance machine capable of exciting chase sequences and stunts. The natural choice was the newly launched Daytona 600. The bike is a 4 cylinder 599cc sports bike. The styling is aggressive and modern, and the technology is cutting edge. The recent TT race win in the Isle of Man cemented the bike's status as a cult favourite. This bike was the obvious choice for Bond's mission.

Do you know if there will be any modifications and what colour scheme the bike will be?
Q has been working on the Daytona 600 for sometime and the bike has several options and surprises that we don't offer on the street version! The bike is Racing Yellow in colour.

Have you seen any of the footage from the game?
We have seen several minutes footage and numerous screenshots of the game. The action is amazing and Bond manages to pull off every stunt in the book, and never looks ruffled!

Pierce Brosnan as James Bond 007 will now join the ranks of Steve McQueen, Marlon Brando and Clint Eastwood - who have all had a famous Triumph motorcycle as a co-star.
