Billie Eilish breaks a Bond song record. How did the others fare?

'No Time To Die' has already broken a 007 record before the film's release (except for the longest break between films for an actor) as Billie Eilish secured #1 in the UK charts with the biggest opening week ever for a James Bond title song. The song sold 90,000 copies in its first seven days and clocked up 10.6 million streams. It is also the biggest single of the year so far in the UK.

The only other UK chart-topper, the previous film's 'Writing's On The Wall' by Sam Smith, sold almost 70k copies when it hit #1 in 2015. Back in 2012, Adele sold 84k copies in her first week, but only made it to #2. 'Skyfall' does hold the record of being in the Top 100 the longest at a staggering 32 weeks. The only other #1 near-miss for Bond was when 'A View To A Kill' by Duran Duran stood firm at #2 for a frustrating three weeks in 1985, held off the top by Paul Hardcastle's '19.'
