Back in action - Roger Moore lined up to play the head of MI6 in the new spy film "Semper Occultus"

MI6 can bring you exciting exclusive news on the latest spy film currently under development - "Semper Occultus". MI6 has been informed that Sir Roger Moore, the third and longest running 007, will be receiving the screenplay next week. Writer/Producer Ben Trebilcook and Director Michael Hurst [Baby Juice Express, New Blood] told us they sought the Bond legend as the perfect fit for the "C" role - the MI6 Director General - "once an agent, now he controls them". "Semper Occultus" puts a new twist on the usual spy movie formula as the central character - an MI6 spy like 007 - will be female. The film title is the Latin motto for the British Secret Intelligence Service meaning "always secret", and the potential for a franchise sporting a female Bond type character has sparked huge developments.

Roger Moore Sought to play MI6 Director 'C'

Former model and ex-"Big Breakfast" UK television presenter turned Hollywood actress Kelly Brook [The Italian Job, Smallville], is lined up to play the central character MI6 Agent Daisy Norton-Hall.

British born action star Jason Statham [The Italian Job, The Transporter, Snatch] will play the villain. The former professional diver turned action star performed almost all of his own stunts and fight sequences on his first main picture The Transporter.

Brook and Statham, currently dating, will be adversaries on screen as the MI6 agent hunts down the renegade ex-SAS operative.

Danny Glover [Lethal Weapon 1-4, Predator 2, The Royal Tenenbaums], famous for his buddy role with Mel Gibson in the Lethal Weapon series, is being sought to play the Director of the FBI.
