Sideshow Announce George Lazenby Legacy Edition
19th August 2006

Since 2002, Sideshow Collectibles have been exclusively licensed to create a line of 12" collectible figures in the likeness of all five Bond actors, key villains and some of the famous women.

Following the huge interest surrounding the 12" figures, Sideshow will be launching a new "Legacy Collection" series of James Bond models. This collection is meant to highlight the iconic look of different actors who played the sophisticated spy through the ages, rather than focusing on 007 from specific films.

The fifth figure announced in this new line is a special George Lazenby 12" model.

The figure follows on from the Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan and Timothy Dalton legacy edition models announced in June and July.

This Limited Edition figure bears a stunning likeness to George Lazenby, who played James Bond only once in the official series, in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" (1969).

Standing at 12" tall, this Lazenby figure will have 30 points of articulation, and comes equipped with a new outfit (to be announced), with other accessories to be confirmed.

The original sculpt as featured on the "On Her Majesty's Secret Service " figure was by artist Oluf W. Hartvigson.

The figure will ship 4th quarter 2006 with an online price of $44.99 USD and will be available to order from SideshowCollectibles.com (preview link).
