An experimental test vehicle, the moonbuggy was stored at Willard
Whyte's lab as a future vehicle for astronauts on the moon. With
it's bubble top cockpit and various other contraptions, it had
controls which were somewhat unfamiliar to Bond.
Use
Bond commandeered the Moonbuggy from Whyte's lab to escape after
being discovered. It proved a useful escape vehicle in the rocky
Nevada desert.
Specs
Moonbuggy 1 with large all-terrain wheels, a robotics claw to
pick up soil samples and a bubble top cockpit.
