Bond 25 to shoot on location in Jamaica

30-Mar-2019 • No Time To Die

The 25th James Bond film is set to shoot on location in Jamaica. MI6 understands that a pre-production unit has been in the Caribbean for some time.

Jamaica's Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett and Culture and Entertainment Minister Olivia Grange will be traveling to Pinewood Studios to meet with Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson soon. Negotiations to shoot Daniel Craig's fifth and final outing as 007 in the country are said to be "very advanced."

Jamaica was the retreat where Ian Fleming wrote his original James Bond novels, and as such, the island often featured in his adventures.

The island nation was used as a key location in the debut films of Sean Connery in 'Dr. No' and Roger Moore in 'Live And Let Die'.
