Naomie Harris never dreamed of James Bond

The new Bond girl, Naomie Harris, presented at the First Light Awards 2012 at the BFI Southbank last night.

When talking to the press about her involvement in the new film "Skyfall", where she plays MI6 field agent Eve, the British actress said: "I never thought it was a possibility, so it's hugely exciting to be a Bond girl. I'm loving it. I love Sam Mendes. He's a fantastic director. And Daniel Craig is incredible to work with, so I feel incredibly lucky."

First Light, which is supported by the National Lottery, provides funding and expertise to enable five to 25 year olds to make their own short digital films and media projects, helping to encourage the next generation of British filmmakers.
