Sneak peek at 'Skyfall' photos in French magazine (spoilers)

11-Apr-2012 • Skyfall

The latest issue of French film magazine, Studio Ciné Live, includes photographs and tidbits from the set of "Skyfall".

Studio Ciné was invited on set recently to watch the shooting of a sequence, filmed recently at Pinewood Studios. The journalist recounts the scene as involving Daniel Craig as James Bond arriving at a glamourous floating casino in Macau.

Sam Mendes spoke about his take on the project, saying that the characters had never been pushed to such limits before. Mendes explained that the 50th anniversary must pay tribute to the legacy and was excited that characters from the franchise's legacy would be returning (hinting that Q would not be the only recognisable face!)

Jany Temine, costume designer for "Skyfall", explained to the journalists that she wanted Bond to be a modern icon but wanted to harp back to the classic era of 007. She also let slip that Berenice Marlohe was playing a "femme fatale" and would be dressed to suit her character.

Along with the set visit, Studio Ciné got a preview of some of the first set of highly anticipated official stills from the "Skyfall" shoot. Blogs and fan sites, such as Bond23.net, are running with the images.

Thanks to `boby` for the alert.
