Empire Cinemas take a stab at 'Skyfall' running time

07-Sep-2012 • Skyfall

Empire Cinemas in the UK have published what they believe the run time of the new James Bond film "Skyfall" will be, despite the fact that the final cut is stills weeks away form being submitted to the British Board of Film Classification.

According to the cinema chain, "Skyfall" will be 2 hours 25 minutes long, which puts it on par with Daniel Craig's first outing as 007 in "Casino Royale" (which is the longest James Bond movie to date at 144/145 minutes, narrowly beating "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" at 140 minutes).

Empire also predict the film will be rated 12A, which seems like a fairly safe bet considering all the stops were pulled out to ensure the last few films met that same rating.
