Mendes and Logan team up for 1800s London vampire TV show

The 'Skyfall' team of director Sam Mendes and writer John Logan are teaming up to make a new TV series set in 1800s London where famous characters such as Van Helsing and Doctor Frankenstein will hunt vampires.

Logan will head up writing duties whilst Mendes will produce the as-yet untitled project.

No casting has been announced, nor a shooting date. The first scripts have been shown to US cable networks in a bid to land a deal.

Logan will be busy as he is also writing the next two James Bond films which will star Daniel Craig as 007.
