Neal Purvis and Robert Wade to pen 'Kojak' remake

18-Dec-2012 • Bond News

Universal Pictures have signed up 007 writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade to pen the screenplay for a big screen remake of the 1970's detective series "Kojak".

Deadline broke the news today that Vin Diesel will play the role made famous by Telly Savalas, who also portrayed Blofeld in the 1969 James Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service".

Purvis and Wade have penned five James Bond films up to and including the latest, "Skyfall". The duo are taking a break from double-o duties as "Skyfall" co-writer John Logan will be taking on the challenge of Bond 24 solo.
