Early details emerge on 'SPECTRE' shoot in Morocco

05-May-2015 • Spectre (2015)

As MI6 previously reported, local news media are confirming that the Bond crew will touch down in Morocco in June.

They are touting the arrival of principal cast including Monica Bellucci, Léa Seydoux and Christoph Waltz.

Sam Mendes will shoot in Tangier's Medina - the old part of the town with narrow, maze-like streets - as well as Erfoud, an oasis in the south east of the country, near Morocco's border with Algeria.

The press are predicting that the scenes will constitute only 10 minutes of screen time in the upcoming, 24th adventure.

Morocco played host to 007 back in the 1980s when "The Living Daylights" shot in Ouarzazate, doubling for Afghanistan, as well as scenes shot in Tangier.

Thanks to `Samuel` for the alert.
