Sam Smith tips Ellie Goulding for 'SPECTRE' title song

01-Jul-2015 • Spectre (2015)

Singer Sam Smith, long rumoured to be performing the title song of the next James Bond film 'SPECTRE', has denied the tabloid reports. Instead, he tipped Ellie Goulding to get the gig.

Interviewed on Capital FM radio this week, Smith ruled himself out of the running to follow up Adele's Oscar winning song for the last Bond film, 'Skyfall.'

"People seem to think I’m doing it but I have no idea what’s going on," he said.

"I’m being deadly serious. I think I would know by now. I heard Ellie Goulding was going to do it, it’s definitely not me."

Sam Mendes told the press at the SPECTRE launch event in December that the title song artist had already been selected.
