'SPECTRE' adds $117.8 from international markets in second week

09-Nov-2015 • Spectre (2015)

Although it opened on a Monday in the UK (26th October 2015), the weekend of November 6-8 is considered 'SPECTRE's 'second frame' in industry speak.

Not surprisingly, 'SPECTRE' maintained its #1 spot at the international box office (meaning everywhere except the USA and Canada) with a haul of $117.8m from 78 countries in its second week.

The UK dropped only 29% from its record breaking first week and added $21.3m for a running British total of $100.2m. 'SPECTRE' is out gunning 'Skyfall' in its opening weeks £65.5m versus £61.6m in 2012.

Combined with the estimated $74m from its 'domestic' debut, that puts the 'SPECTRE' worldwide total over $300m in just two weeks.

'SPECTRE' is still to open in South Korea, Japan, France, Australia and - perhaps most importantly - China.
