Jamie Bell joins growing list of possible successors to Daniel Craig

30-May-2016 • Bond News

Add English actor Jamie Bell to the list of candidates to succeed Daniel Craig in the role of James Bond, if the tabloids are to be believed.

The 30-year old 'Billy Elliot' star "has held informal chats with producers about replacing Daniel Craig in the iconic role" according to The Sun.

He is currently shooting 'Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool' for producer Barbara Broccoli - one of her 'non-Bond' projects.

Bell has just finished filming '6 Day's where he plays an elite SAS soldier who leads the storming of the Iranian Embassy when it is taken over by gunmen in 1980.

An EON spokesman said: "Barbara regularly speaks to lots of actors and nothing has been decided yet on Bond."
