Tabloids and bookmakers claim next James Bond actor to be named in two weeks

Ouroboros is a circular symbol depicting a snake, or less commonly a dragon, swallowing its tail, as an emblem of wholeness or infinity.

The question of who will next take on the role of James Bond is our own ouroboros, with the media and bookmakers each eating their own tails.

This week, Metro reported that bookmaker William Hill is claiming the next 007 will be announced within the next two weeks.

And do they say it will it be? Irish actor Aiden Turner, who was first linked to the possibility of becoming 007 back in December when Metro themselves wrote up a story about TV viewers of 'And Then There Were None' tweeting about his Bond look.

To quote Bond in 'Skyfall', "it's the circle of life."
