Tabloids punt Bond 25 release to 2018

22-Jul-2016 • No Time To Die

MI6 reported earlier in the year that the 25th James Bond film wasn't expected to be released until late 2018 based on sources and the non-007 workload of EON Productions and the break to find a director and pen a new script.

The Sun have caught up with reality and published a story today echoing those sentiments.

"Barbara [Broccoli] s not going to be rushed into a Bond and wants to work on two other film projects next year," a 'source' told the paper. "It will give her time to work out a script and try to convince Daniel to maybe return."

As a passing shot, the piece throws in the name on 'Ben-Hur' star Jack Huston as being courted as a possible future 007.

Broccoli is currently producing non-Bond film 'Film Star's Don't Die In Liverpool' at Pinewood with Jamie Bell in the lead role and Paul McGuigan directing.

Daniel Craig has signed up to a number of other projects this year and next.
