Paul Haggis not working on Bond 22 script ... yet

30-Mar-2007 • Quantum Of Solace

Oscar winner Paul Haggis is staying coy about any possible involvement in the development of the 22nd James Bond film due out November 7th 2008.

Haggis joined late in the pre-production of Daniel Craig's debut outing Casino Royale to provide a final 'polish' to the screenplay drafted by regular scribes Neal Purvis and Robert Wade.

Purvis and Wade are already working away at the draft for Bond 22, but will Haggis come on board again?

Cinematical bumped in to him at the Gen Art Film Festival launch party in New York City yesterday and although Haggis would not confirm or deny, he left a hint. Haggis said "with a peculiar smile that he was not involved in the film ... yet"
