UK tabloids reheat Daniel Craig injury story, financial data

02-Nov-2007 • Casino Royale

UK tabloid The Sun is revisiting the incident that caused a tidal wave of media coverage in the early days of filming on Casino Royale, when Daniel Craig got a cap knocked off a tooth during a fight scene.

The paper says, "Daniel Craig spent £1,000 on his teeth after being smacked in the mouth filming Casino Royale, it emerged yesterday.

But the accident wasn’t the only occupational hazard faced by the 39-year-old. His business accounts revealed he also beefed up his own security after landing the 007 role.

A source said: “Daniel suddenly had more public attention than he had ever had to handle. He forked out thousands."
