James Bond comic strip `Omnibus Volume 1` due from Titan in September

27-Dec-2008 • Collecting

An early listing on Amazon.com has revealed an upcoming compilation title of classic James Bond comic strip adventures from publisher Titan Books.

The first compendium is simply titled "James Bond: Omnibus Volume 1" and is due out on 8th September 2009 in the USA. No release data for the UK is available yet.

Authors are credited as Ian Fleming, Henry Gammidge and Jim Lawrence with illustration by John McLusky and Yaroslav Horak (editors note: the Amazon data incorrectly attributes author and illustrator credits as well as mispelling McLusky's name). The group credit indicates 007 strips may be compiled from various eras in the life span of the comic.

Described as running for only 288 pages, the book data should be expected to change closer to the release date.

Titan's final two collections of the strip, The Girl Machine and Nightbird, are due out in 2009.
