Reports name 'Potter' regular Jany Temime as Costume Designer for the 23rd James Bond film...

New Costume Designer

19th June 2011

According to a brief report by Dutch newspaper NU.nl, costume designer Jany Temime will be providing 007's new threads in the 23rd James Bond film.

French-born Temime worked on many Dutch productions through the 1980's and 1990's before moving to London.

Her big break came in 2004 when she landed the Costume Design job on "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban", and has continued in that capacity on every film in the franchise since.

In between Potter outings, Temime also worked with high-profile leading mean such as Clive Owen on "Children of Men" and Colin Farrell for "In Bruges".

Her current project is "Clash of the Titans 2" with former Bond girl Rosamund Pike and English actor Ralph Fiennes, who has been consistently linked with a role in Bond 23.

Temime has been regularly nominated for costume design awards for her work on the Harry Potter series, but it has not all been smooth sailing. Last October, the press picked up on a glaring uncredited similarity to a design by the late Alexander McQueen, which the Telegraph went as far as to call a "blatant rip-off".

For Daniel Craig's portrayal of James Bond, it will be the third costume designer in as many films after then-series regular Lindy Hemming styled his debut outing in "Casino Royale" but was replaced by Louise Frogley who dressed Bond for "Quantum of Solace" in Tom Ford suits.

Pre-production on Bond 23 is expected to start in mid-July, with cameras due to start rolling in November 2011.
