Ben Whishaw as 'Q' is expected to be sporting a specially-designed Swatch watch in 'No Time To Die'. First artwork for the unique watch and packaging has been revealed today.

Q, the long-suffering Quartermaster of MI6, was reimagined as a young tech-genius with contempt for Bond as a blunt instrument in 'Skyfall'. Since then, Bond films regularly involve the somewhat socially-awkward genius in the field and in the lab as he balances his loyalty to Bond with the need to put food in the bowl for his cats. Contrary to the Desmond Llewelyn (or John Cleese) days, Q will again have an extended role in 'No Time To Die' with Whishaw billed fourth after Malek, Seydoux and Lynch.

"I'll hazard I can do more damage on my laptop sitting in my pyjamas before my first cup of Earl Grey than you can do in a year in the field" - Q

The announcement that Q will wear a specially-designed Swatch follows on the heels of N Peal's tactical jumper – another example of costumers collaborating apparel partners – and Swatch's own line of watches inspired by past Bond adventures. As with the Navy Ribbed jersy, 'No Time To Die' costume designer Suttirat Anne Larlarb was involved in the creation of this unique product.

The watch will be available to buy on 5th March 2020 and the packaging will pay homage to Q's technical background.
