Video
As with many of the Bond films from the 70s and 80s, Licence To Kill is presented in 2.35:1 with 16:9 enhancements and is mastered from a new high definition transfer. The restoration has improved the colour saturation from previous releases and the film looks fresh and vibrant. Only a couple of noticeable video artifacts are present with some background aliasing.

Audio
Featuring a new DTS 5.1 mix, this track is far superior to the complimentary Dolby Digital 5.1 mix. The 5.1 track is still great, but the DTS mix is an amazing improvement. Both mixes boast faultless sync and no noise or clicks. The surround and sub woofer get a good workout and Kamen's score enjoys a large range.

One Last Thing...
A lot of the known cut scenes are now featured on this Ultimate Edition release, but a few shots are still missing here and there since the original censor's cut. It would have been nice to see a split-screen feature on how the censored scenes back in 1989 stacked up against this 'uncut' release.
