An event celebrating 35 years of 'For Your Eyes Only' will take place in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy this July

Over the last few years, The Swiss Bond Club has organised some truly memorable James Bond events. The "Goldfinger Reloaded" event, for example, which took place in September 2014 celebrated the iconic film with visits to some of the locations, included a dinner with the stars, and featured an array of cars, including an Aston Martin DB5, a Ford Mustang, and a Rolls-Royce.
In 2015, The Swiss Bond Club was also instrumental in organising the "007 Walk Of Fame" attraction at the Schilthorn Cableway, Piz Gloria, which portrayed Blofeld's remote mountaintop clinic in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". The launch of this new attraction saw many of the cast and crew from the film return to the Schilthorn for the first time, including former Bond George Lazenby, who made a typically Bondian entrance, arriving by helicopter to Piz Gloria.
Now, James Bond Club Switzerland has joined forces with the newly-formed James Bond Club Germany to bring 007 fans yet another fabulous event: "For Your Eyes Only - 35 years of Bonding in Cortina", will be a celebration of the 12th James Bond film and will take place from Friday July 1st - Sunday July 3rd 2016 in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy - a location that featured prominently in the film.

The event will include a location tour around Cortina d'Ampezzo, including the Miramonti Majestic Grand Hotel where Bond stayed in the film, the town centre of Cortina, which featured in a motorcycle stunt sequence, the Olympic ski jump that saw Bond face off against Charles Dance, and other sights in and around the town.
As with other Swiss James Bond Club events, former Bond alumni have been invited to attend, with special guests including John Moreno (Luigi Ferrara), John Wyman (Erich Kriegler), and Remy Julienne (legendary stunt driver and veteran of number of Bond films), as well as some other surprise guests. Whilst unable to attend the event himself, Sir Roger Moore has given his official approval.
As with "Goldfinger Reloaded" there will be a number of Bond vehicles at the event, which will be prominently featured in the photo shoots. Luc Le Clech (President of James Bond France) will drive his personal yellow Citroën 2CV to the event, whilst Bond fan Hansi Zweigle will attend the event in his newly-restored Lotus Esprit, which features the same colour combination and ski racks as the car seen in the film.
The event programme includes the location tour, a dinner, meet and greet with the stars, a professional photoshoot, autograph opportunities, as well as other surprises.
