A 007 themed experience has opened in London

In a nod to the 1964 James Bond film Goldfinger, Mayfair’s iconic Burlington Arcade has transformed into a 007-themed experience, offering visitors a unique blend of luxury, nostalgia, and style. Running from September 18 to December 31, the experience is set to captivate fans and visitors alike with golden sculptures, exclusive bars, rare memorabilia, and limited-edition collectibles.
Three bespoke golden sculptures, inspired by the legendary Aston Martin DB5, now hang from the ceiling, appearing to race through the arcade. Below, visitors can stroll across a custom carpet adorned with famous quotes from the film, creating an immersive Bond experience.
The centerpiece of the attraction is The 007, which includes two exclusive bars, where visitors can indulge in signature cocktails created in collaboration with Belvedere, Blackwell Rum, Champagne Bollinger, and Macallan.
Film buffs will delight in the display of iconic props from Goldfinger, including Oddjob’s bowler hat, a gold bar from Fort Knox, Goldfinger’s golf shoes, and the spyhole clock from his private plane. Many of these items are being showcased to the public for the first time.
The first floor of Burlington Arcade houses a 007-themed boutique offering exclusive merchandise and collaborative collectibles. Highlights include Burlington Arcade-exclusive items, the highly anticipated James Bond 2024 luxury advent calendar, and limited-edition framed prints. Daily giveaways will reward the first 25 customers with a collector’s edition Goldfinger Sixty Years poster.
A charity auction will also be held, featuring a limited number of The Macallan’s 60th Anniversary Decades whisky sets, with all proceeds going to charity. Fans can also browse and potentially purchase Fabergé’s Octopussy capsule collection, including limited edition handcrafted Egg Objet pieces.
OMEGA will present the only two James Bond watches ever crafted in yellow gold: the Seamaster Diver 300M Commander’s Watch (2017) and the Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond Limited Edition (2019), created in celebration of the 50th anniversary of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.
Burlington Arcade has a long-standing connection to the James Bond franchise, with many 007 brands having a presence there since 1936. Long-time retailers such as N.Peal, Crockett and Jones, Globe-Trotter, and The Royal Mint continue to thrive in the arcade. Additional 007 partners, including Orlebar Brown, BOGNER, Assouline, and Lock & Co Hatters, are located nearby.
The 007 opens at House 12-13 Burlington Arcade, Mayfair, London from 18 September to 31 December 2024. Opening hours are 10am-7pm Monday-Saturday, 11am-6pm Sunday.
