A few weeks ago, IO Interactive confirmed that an artist would perform a title song in the new James Bond videogame '007: First Light' in line with the film franchise (and other games such as 'Everything or Nothing' and 'Blood Stone').
Fans of Lana Del Rey have discovered a song registration titled 'First Light' that would indicate she is performing the song for the game. Elizabeth Grant is her legal name.
The American singer-songwriter has had a previous brush with Bond as she wrote a song for 'SPECTRE' that was turned down in favour of Sam Smith. When asked why she had not landed a Bond song yet, she said "I mean, how has that not happened?" She released her rejected track with the title '24' ('SPECTRE' was the 24th James Bond film).
