Madonna Confirmed For "Die Another Day"
15th March 2002

EON Productions have officially confirmed the long running rumour that Madonna will be performing the title song for Die Another Day.

Another long standing rumour was that Madonna was in negotiations to play a small cameo role in the 20th Bond adventure. It was believed EON had to comply with her demands in order to secure her for the title song.

MI6 can reveal that Madonna and EON did agree to her featuring on screen, but other events have unfolded since.

One of the many PR people representing Madonna exclusively told mi6-hq.com:

"She is starting work in the studio on Monday (18th March 2002). It is true that part of the contract was to have a cameo role in the movie, but her commitments to her new play in London means it is no longer possible".
