EON Productions, the UK company controlled by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, published its accounts for 2023 today. UK companies are legally required to file annual statements to Company's House and they are available as a public record. This is different from Danjaq, the holders of the rights to James Bond (also owned by Broccoli and Wilson) which is based in the US and has no public filings.

Despite the fact that no Bond film is being produced, EON's business has been good. The company report notes the "substantial merchandising contract" signed in 2017 as a significant source of income. This is understood to be the 007 Store, which has ramped up its products and prices.

Turnover grew to £22.2m in 2023, up from £15.8m in 2022 (also a non-film year). An annual profit of £2.4m was reported after taxes and all expenses, including a total remuneration of £5m split between Broccoli and Wilson. EON is a small company that employs 19 full-time staff with an average salary of £52,000.

The Business Review section states: "Looking forward, the directors anticipate the group to display growth and profitability whilst concentrating on the development of its next film production." This does not necessarily mean 'Bond 26,' as EON is involved in several films under development.
