It's part of Bond-lore now that Pierce Brosnan and Teri Hatcher fell out on the set of "Tomorrow Never Dies" despite the actress only shooting for five days. Entertainment Tonight went behind the scenes of the film at the Frogmore studios in England in early 1997.

"There's a little bit more slapping later on.
It's in the bedroom."

Hatcher was 3 months pregnant during filming and the dispute started off as an innocent misunderstanding on Brosnan's part. He explained, "She was late to the set because she was newly pregnant. I got very upset with her - she was always keeping me waiting for hours. I must admit I let slip a few words which weren't very nice. No one told me her situation until afterward." According to anecdotes from the crew, Hatcher didn't have to do much acting for the scene where Paris slaps Bond.
