The iconic MI6 building is set to return in "Skyfall" as filming is scheduled this weekend on Vauxhall Bridge...

Vauxhall Bridge Filming

4th February 2012

The "Skyfall" crew will continue their London based shooting schedule today around Vauxhall Bridge, the famous roadway over the Thames that faces the real-life SIS building that doubles for MI6 in the James Bond series. Last seen in "Die Another Day", the iconic building looks like it will make its comeback as the base of operations for M and her 00-division.

Transport for London have confirmed that bus route 87 will be diverted with delays between 06:30 and 17:30 on Saturday 4th February due to filming taking place. The following day, helicopter filming operations will take place in the vicinity of Vauxhall Bridge. A contingency date of the 12th February has been allocated in the event of bad weather disrupting operations. Filming will take place between 17:00 and 22:00, during which navigation will be controlled by a PLA Harbour Service Launch.

Update: Due to the cold snap in the UK and snowfall, filming at Vauxhall Bridge was postponed until the contingency plan of the following week.

In a couple of weeks, all directions of Horse Guards Avenue, Whitehall Court and Whitehall Place will be closed for further "Skyfall" filming on Saturday 18th February.
