Bond 25 could be heading to Norway

05-Dec-2018 • No Time To Die

Norwegian newspaper Bergens Tidende reports that Bond 25 could be taking advantage of government incentives schemes to set part of the new James Bond movie in the country.

Up to 25% of a production budget or NOK 75m ($8.8m) can be rebated. Applications are already before the Norwegian Film Institute and according to the paper one of the applications under consideration is from "B25". The paper quotes a staffer from the West Norwegian Film Commission, excited with the prospect of hosting Bond 25 but also noting this round of applications is the best so far (and presumably most competitive).

Tom Cruise's "Mission: Impossible – Fallout" is amongst the Hollywood blockbusters to have taken advantage of the incentive scheme.
