'Bourne' director Doug Liman, who still doesn't "know how to process" 'Casino Royale' apparently ripping off his movie's tone, will now helm the reboot of 'The Saint' franchise. Made wildly popular by Roger Moore in a long-running television adaptation before he took on the role of 007, the series has had a few misguided attempts are reboots over the decades, and a big budget 1997 movie with Val Kilmer in the lead role of Simon Templar. Given the Hollywood machinery behind the reboot, it is unlikely the new project will stick closely to author Leslie Charteris' original creation.
