George Lazenby's 'Other Fella' documentary to be released by Hulu

07-Aug-2016 • Actor News

The new semi-autobiographical documentary 'This Never Happened To The Other Fella', the story of George Lazenby's one-time outing as James Bond, has been snapped up by Hulu for distribution in the USA.

Written and directed by Andrew Lumley, the docu looks back at cinema's forgotten man takes us on a journey down from the heady highs of the 1960's to a deep realisation of the self. Maligned and often misunderstood, George Lazenby finally sets the record straight.

Hulu acquired the US rights as part of its new Limelight Documentary Series will feature Hulu-exclusive documentaries.

The documentary will premiere in Norway next month with Lazenby in attendance.

Hulu's senior vice president of global content, Craig Erwhich, said that it was a project the streaming service had been working on for quite some time and saw it as the next opportunity for Hulu's original line to grow.

Erwhich didn't say when the first few documentaries would start rolling out on the service, but confirmed anyone with a Hulu account would be able to access the films at no additional cost.
