Bond shoot interrupted by strong winds in Istanbul

19-Apr-2012 • Skyfall

Eminönü square, in Istanbul, Turkey and one of "Skyfall" key foreign locations was subject to high winds this week, reports from the country indicate.

Twitter user @Turkish_agenda first reported that Istanbul had been struck by gusts yesterday, saying, "windstorm damaged the set of James Bond film "Skyfall" in Eminonu district".

Now, pictures of the square show the extend of the damage.

Local press are reporting that minor injuries were sustained and that the day's shoot was cancelled to allow time to clean up the location.
