Bond girl Lana Wood rushed to hospital after allergic reaction

27-May-2012 • Actor News

Bond girl Lana Wood, who played Plenty O'Toole in the 1971 James Bond film "Diamonds Are Forever" was rushed to hospital this weekend when she experienced trouble breathing.

The actress, who lives in California, suffered a terrible allergic reaction. By the time she got to the hospital, her entire face was swollen like a balloon - forcing her eyelids closed and shutting her mouth.

According to reports, Wood is now feeling much better. Doctors believe the allergic reaction was triggered by an ingredient in her Frosted Mini-Wheats.
